Ryton Credit Union
Ryton Credit Union
Credit unions are a community save and loans scheme. They are run by local people for the benefit of local people.
Ryton Credit Union Ltd was established in September 1997 and is an independent financial service for anyone who lives or works in the south side of Rotherham in South Yorkshire. It is here to help people save money and to enable people to access low interest rate loans.
Ryton Credit Union is managed on a day-to-day basis by volunteers. The voluntary un-paid Board of Directors oversee the running of the credit union and formulates policies and strategy within legislation in the interest of its members. All Directors receive appropriate training as required and are regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
The joining fee costs £1 and you can save as much or as little as you like. Money can be paid by Standing Order or at a Collection Point by cash or cheque.
